Mega stars movies to be released only during festive seasons.
Tamil Film Producers council (TFPC) has decided to release 'mega' stars movies only during festive seasons.
As per the head of the council, S.A.Chandrasekaran, this move will benefit the producers of small and medium budget movies. Such producers can now plan their movie release ahead so that it doesn't clash with the big movie releases.
But it should be noted that even the previous TFPC members tried to regulate release of big movies but was not able to succeed because of the opposition from the theatre owners.
